As a thank you to Kelli for all the hard work she does crafting her magical photos, we had her answer a few questions for us, so we could get to know her! Make sure you click her ticket above and follow her on IG and show her some much deserved love! Without further ado.... let's dive into the Faery Tale of Kelli's bookish life!

Question 1: What sparked your love of reading? (Give me all the deets!)

I used to read a lot when I was younger. My favorite was Babysitters Club! Then I don’t know why but I stopped. It was when I watched Twilight that made me want to read the books so I grabbed all 4 and read through them in a week. My sister in law is the one who told me to try audiobooks and from then on I was addicted!

Question 2: What book could you read over and over again and never get tired of?

Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. It’s my all time fave and my first real paranormal/romance type read.

Question 3: When did you start blogging? For books or otherwise?

Probably when I started bookstagram. I thought it was wild finding this HUGE community of people all over the world that shared my love for books and reading.

Question 4: WHY did you start Bookstagramming (or Book Blogging/Toking etc.) in particular? What drives you (other than the love of books LOL)? The community? The creative side? The review writing part? Taking photos?

The people and being able to talk about what I’m reading! To share the reads I loved and to find new ones in different genres and by different authors.

Question 5: Name a book you think doesn’t get enough hype in any of the na/adult fantasy/pnr romance genres! Indie or mainstream publishing!

This is so unfair because I feel like there are so many!! If I have to pick I’m going to say The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E Pearson and The Black Witch Chronicles by Laurie Forest.

Question 6: What are you currently reading? Bonus: What’s up next?

Right now I’m in the middle of JLA’s (Jennifer L. Armentrout) A Crown of Gilded Bones and Disenchanted by Brianna Sugalski. What’s up next... oh man I have a whole list. Guess it just depends on my mood what I will pick 🤣

Question 7: What’s your favorite sub-genre of fantasy? (References if you need them:

Paranormal Romance 100% lol

Question 8: How about your favorite tropes? (Examples: Enemies to lovers? Fated Mates, Love Triangle, Fairytale Retelling, Assassins, Pirates, Thieves etc.)

My favorite is enemies to lovers. The tension and angst.. I love when I’m yelling at the book “just kiss already!”

Final Question: Last but not least… Who’s your wildest dream unicorn author to work with/receive an arc of their book/do a tour with?

I’m so lucky to have met my fave KMM... but one that will always be at the top of my bucket list would be Jay Kristoff!
